GOP Whistleblower says Biden Family Worked to Sell American Gas to China

The Biden family sold US natural gas to China long before Joe Biden became president, who knew how his son Hunter Biden made the sale possible, according to senior Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.). by the House Oversight Committee, citing documents and information from a whistleblower.

Hunter Biden had a Chinese Communist Party member as his assistant when he negotiated with the Chinese side for US natural gas shipments to China in 2017, and the Biden family promised business partners they would reap rewards once Biden got away with it. became president, Comer said in a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in September 20.

“Not only has the President in the past misled the American public about his foreign dealings, but he has also failed to disclose that he played a key role in brokering a trade deal to sell American mineral resources to the United States. Chinese as they plan to run for president,” Comer wrote.

Joe Biden, Comer said, was a business partner on the deal and had office space to work on the deal, and a company he ran received millions from its Chinese partners ahead of the expected company.

Some of what Comer said had previously been reported in the news, the letter citing testimony from whistleblowers as well as emails, a company PowerPoint presentation, screenshots of encrypted messages, and banking documents Republicans obtained from the committee a more complete picture suggesting Biden was aware of the plan and had been involved with it since at least 2017.

From 2017 to 2021, the Bidens promised business associates that Joe Biden would run for president in 2020, and those working with them as of 2017 would “reap the rewards.” in a future Biden administration,” is Comer’s account of a whistleblower’s testimony to Republicans on the Oversight Committee.

“As the United States now grapples with an energy crisis, it is important to understand why the Biden family sold America’s energy reserves to the Chinese, whether this influenced President Biden’s decision-making today, and why President Biden did so.” never disclosed his relationship with the Chinese to the American public,” Comer wrote to Yellen.

“If President Biden has worked to enrich not only himself but his family by promising political access in exchange for millions of dollars or influencing in a future Biden administration, Congress and the American people are entitled to this information.

“Good for US and China” The emails accompanying the letter show that Hunter Biden actively supported the natural gas deal with top executives at the now defunct CEFC China Energy, then one of the world’s largest energy companies. In a November 2017 email to CEFC Chairman Dong Gongwen, Hunter told his partner that he had sent information about the LNG opportunity to cities in Louisiana.

“We began exploring opportunities in the United States long before the Chinese government publicly announced its interest in importing natural gas from around the world,” Hunter wrote. It provided the opportunity to contract for large volumes of liquefied natural gas.

“Very cheap” gas in the near term, and the possibility of acquiring or participating in a promising natural gas project in Louisiana that would further CEFC’s long-term goals. “Proposal, which I have shared with you, has the added benefit of being good for both the United States and China at the same time,” he added.

According to the letter, Hunter’s Chinese assistant Bao Jiaqi, who previously worked as a research fellow at China’s macroeconomic governing body, the National Development and Reform Commission, sent him a detailed report.

Presented with political and topographical maps and Chinese annotations dividing America by natural gas reserves.
n’s 30-page presentation placed special emphasis on Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Wyoming.

The emails accompanying the slides revealed a plan to promote the sale of natural gas to China by Hudson West III LLC, a company formed by Hunter and CEFC officials, the letter said. Joe Biden’s Alleged Role Joe Biden was a “disguised partner” in dealings with the Chinese, according to a whistleblower report, and his son would own 10 percent of the joint venture to hide his involvement, according to Comer’s letter.

The same information was previously confirmed to The Epoch Times by former business partner Tony Bobulinski. “Don’t mention Joe’s involved, it’s only when [you] are face to face, I know, [you] know but you’re being paranoid,” a Hunter staffer said in a May 20, 2017 Conversation with another employee. WhatsApp, whose screenshot was attached to the letter.

“Okay, you should be paranoid,” the other replied. What Comer speculated was a “mistake” on Hunter’s part. Hunter wrote in a September 2017 email asking to “have the keys available for new officemates,” whom he identified as older Biden, Jill Biden, and the President’s brother, Jim Hunter, who gave him his father’s and uncle’s home cell phone number in case the recipient needs to call to confirm.

Cecilia Browning, general manager of the building office, responded to Hunter’s inquiry the same day: “We are very pleased and honored to welcome your new colleagues!” he wrote, according to a copy of the email from Hunter’s alleged laptop.

The White House has claimed that Hunter and the President “were not officemates.” Biden senior said he never discussed Hunter’s business dealings with his son. The Epoch Times has reached out to the White House and Hunter’s attorney for further comment on Comer’s letter.

On the same day that Comer mailed the letter, Democrats voted against a resolution in which the Republican Legislature proposed that the President release documents related to the Biden family’s foreign dealings.
